Wrist & Hand Pain

Wrist & Hand Pain

Refers to a group of problems that affect the joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments, and nerves of the wrist and hand. These conditions can cause pain, stiffness, swelling, weakness, numbness, or reduced movement, making everyday tasks such as typing, gripping, or lifting difficult. Common causes include overuse injuries, repetitive strain, tendon inflammation, nerve compression, arthritis, and acute injuries like sprains. Wrist and hand pain may develop gradually or suddenly and can impact work, sports, and daily activities. Early assessment and appropriate treatment can help reduce symptoms, restore function, and prevent long-term problems.
